It's chilly willy

It's cold here in Austin Texas, well it's just cold in Texas in general. If you have been on facebook and have any friends in this region I am sure their status updates have been all about this. You will notice I have said nothing. It's cold and windy but that's all here in Austin. No rain or ice or snow, so calm down. A lady at work yesterday was talking about how it was too windy to come to work, are you kidding me? I mean I would love an unexpected day of from work just as much as the next kiddo but that is just ridic. I am sure this change in weather would not have seemed so shocking and status updating worthy if it had not been 82 on Sunday and I had been laying by the pool working on my tan. Flips flops to uggs. Oh well. Now we return to our regularly scheduled programing of my random rantings on this here blog...oh wait that qualified.

Blonde

A blonde is something that I can never be. It simply does not go with my skin tone. I don't really have a desire to be blonde but then I run across Rachel McAdams and love her hair color and realize it is a dream I will never seem come alive. She skin is such that she can do blonde, brown, red, whatever her heart desires. Lucky duck.

I stand corrected

I love Harry Potter. I have since the books came out and I also love the movies. When the first movie came out I went with my friend JA. I spent the whole movie pointing out when something from the book had been skipped. JA was patient but he had read the book as well and did not need me to tell him every missed moment. All of these actors were relatively unknown, including Hermione. Think back to the first movie. She was awkward looking. JA claimed she would one day be a hottie. I disagreed. I take this time to publically admit that I was wrong and JA was right. Hermione aka Emma Watson did turn out to be quite hot. I'm not known for admitting I am wrong but in this rare instance, I was.

Something I don't understand

People who listen to their work voicemails on speakerphone. I don't want to hear the messages that people left you while you were away from the desk and I am sure you don't want to hear mine, thus pick up the phone and don't use speakerphone. I mean we are all in cubes, you would be doing us all a favor. Thank you and have a great day.

On the Wagon

Ladies and gentlemen, I am on the wagon. Well except for Cabo. At a HH a few weeks ago, my from WJ, told me about how January is his white month. Since I have never heard of a white month I had him explain. Long story short, you don't drink in a white month. The more I thought about it, the more this seemed like a good idea. It's not like I am drinking every night but sometimes it is good to take a break, so for the month of January I will be taking a break. I hope this helps me kick off my new year to a wonderful start. 2011 is all about health. So long vodka and wine, I will miss you. See you in February.

Katy Perry

What can I say, I have drank the Katy Perry Kool Aid and I am okay with that. Her songs are catchy and usually get me smiling and always rocking out. Looking forward to my love to continue to grow in 2011!
