Saw This Today

I saw this today on UsWeekly.com and it was the kick in the butt I needed.

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-body/news/kristen-bell-recruits-jenna-fischer-for-30-day-fitness-challenge-2012315

I was telling my Pure Barre classmate E, last night that I needed to get refocused in my fitness etc. Mornings where I was up and hitting the 6 am class no problem have become a struggle to get out of bed. So here it now here on the interwebs, I am doing 30 days of fitness this month! No excuses. I guess it will be 31 because I went today but it's happening. Who wants to join me?

Bachelorette Thoughts

Last night we were treated to another great concert on the Bachelorette. I can only imagine how awkward shooting those scenes were. I mean they have the area blocked off so there is no one around them. Totally natural. I mean I think they will both be disappointed the next time they go to a Luke Bryan concert and someone's sweaty arm rubs up on them. Sorry ABC wasn't there to quarantine your personal space off.

Towards the end of the episode I wrote some gems down. These all pretty much happen at Dollywood aka any man's dream date site. Emily and what's his name walk into the room with the stage to write love songs. So normal and again, every man's dream! Emily says "I'm obviously not a song writer". Really....I mean I thought that is why you were on the show so color me shocked. No Emily, while you are not a song writer you are an expert at wearing short shorts. I mean the ones for the play date at the park were barely visible under your over-sized striped shirt. I am sure your mommy friends were thinking, wow, really, when they had on their reasonably lengthed walking shorts or other park appropriate attire.

Back to Dollywood. Does Ms. Parton have some album release coming out? Has Dollywood been hit hard by the recession thus needs to be advertised on a show who's target audience isn't interested in going to Dollywood? If I was in the area, yes I would swing by but last nights show didn't make me think, I need to high tail it to Dollywood ASAP. I though Dolly was a classy lady with morals etc. Her appearance last night lead me to think otherwise.

Loved how Emily was shocked by Dolly's appearance. I guess the totally empty amusement park wasn't a giveaway that something might be amiss that day. Oh well, at least your hair always looks nice Emily.

One thing that was right in this episode was sending Mr. DJ, I think his name was Stevie, home. I mean I would have personally cut him when he walked in the first episode wearing the kelly green dress shirt. It looked liked a left over for a wedding he worked or was a groomsman in. Also, I don't care how many roses there are, and I am sure this is due to a contract with ABC, but I would have sent Alejandro or Allesandro, don't remember which it was, but the dude who called her kid a complication. I mean clearly that is not going to work out. He is probably just counting down his days until his dismissal now.

Until next week. I am still holding out hope that Emily will pick Chris Harrison and that he will then throw the rose he gives her back in her face. Because he is a good guy like that and knows he can do better.

Oh and I totally like Arie.

Product Review

Have y'all heard about the new big thing in makeup, BB Creams? Well I have. I have read all about them and decided to give one of them a whirl. I heard especially good things about the one by Too Faced. I have their eyeshadow primer as well as lip primer and have been pleased with them so figured why not give this a shot. I popped into my local sephora and checked out my options. The sales associate helped me find the right shade. I have been wearing it for pretty much 2 weeks straight and so far love it. I feel like I can tell a difference. I feel a bit more pulled together which was something I had been wanting. Part of my reasoning behind trying the product was I wanted to feel a bit more pulled together. As I push 30 I wanted to look a touch more pulled together but fear that foundation is way too much for me. So far so good with this product! 2 thumbs up from me and hey it has lots of stars on sephora.com too!

Oh, and this did add to my initial cost. I asked how to best put it on and the sales associate told me to use a brush.  I got this brush and feel like it goes on smoothly and evenly. I also feel like I don't have to use a ton so even though I had the upfront cost on the brush, I think it will make the product last longer which I love!

Ahoy Wine Bottle

One blog I read every day is A Cup of Jo they are short and to the point and posts cover a variety of topics. It is one of my first reads in the day. Yes, I kind of have a crazy system for the order I read my blogs. Today I was reading and she opened my eyes to an anchor wine stopper

I really think I might need one for myself! I mean it's fantastic. I guess my main issue is that usually my bottle of wine doesn't last long enough for me to put a stopper in it. Maybe this cute new thing would encourage me to do what is known as pacing myself?!?!

writing topics

I had to write something the other day for a job and decided that I am not a very good writer. Oh sure I can write something up on here that is funny and witty but when it came to job application quality writing, not so much. The BFF had a great suggestion. Use the blog as a chance to work on my skillz. And work on them I shall. It's won't be every entry or even ever week but I will do a little research and write on a topic and then y'all can feel free to comment. Let yourselves be the high school teacher critics I always wanted.

Now I ask, what do you want to learn about....

coffee or tea

Most people are surprised to know that I am not much of a coffee gal. I like an occasional skinny vanilla latte from the Starbucks, but for the most part, I am a tea girl. I usually have about 2 big glasses of hot tea in the morning and then 1 more around 2:25. Why 2:25 you ask, because the cafeteria where the hot water dispenser is, closes at 2:30.

I used to drink my tea British style aka with milk. I learned this way back in the 7th grade from my friend KL because this was how they served teat at their home. For the past few years I have mainly just been an earl grey, with 1 sweet and low and milk girl. This started to change last year. The BFF mentioned a new flavor of tea to me and it has been rocking my world ever since.

Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea by Celestial Seasonings is amazing. Lately, my earl grey has be a tea of the past and I have mainly been drinking this deliciousness. If you need a new tea flavor I highly recommend trying it.

I just realized I wrote 2 paragraphs about tea. Man, I need to get out more!
